Our Big Expedition to Golden Is Now Set. It Will Take Place On Saturday, January 21!

We have finalized the date: our day-long expedition to Golden, where we will search all across town for charming old prints and ephemera, will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

We will all meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Railway Cafe, which is right next to the huge, bright yellow sign that says Golden taxi services (you can see that sign from three blocks away!). And we will spend the whole day looking for treasures that we can take home with us and cherish forever.

Cindy Edwards, our intrepid expedition organizer, says that we now have more than fifty participants signed up for the big day. We hope that all fifty of you will show up for all the fun, but even if only half of you do, we are certain to have a wonderful time!

Remember that if this expedition goes well, it is our intention to make it an annual affair—or maybe even a seasonal affair. (How about if we took an expedition once in the winter, and once in the summer? Would any of you be interested in something like that?)

A seasonal approach is a possibility that has been bubbling in our minds of late. But it will all depend, of course, on how this first expedition goes.

For those of our customers who haven’t been reading our blog on a regular basis (we know that there are a few of you like that out there!), you may not understand why we are making our expedition to Golden.

The reason is simple: it’s because Golden is such a quaint, charming, wonderfully historical place.

And it’s also because Agnes Brzezinski, the owner of Prints ‘N Ephemera, grew up in Golden. She has lived down here in Denver for decades now, but Golden is where she came from. Golden is where she first started collecting old prints and ephemera.

She will be our guide on our first expedition, so you can be sure that you are going to find lots of amazing things to take home.

So put that date on your calendar. And we will see you all then!
