#F-6 - "Gunston Cotton, Adventurer" by Rupert Grayson - Stated First Edition - Publ. by E.P. Dutton & Co., NY, 1937 - $25.00

Hardbound in tan cloth, stamped in rpurple on the front cover and spine, the book measures approx. 5.5" x 7.5" and has 285 pages. The book follows the exploits of "Gun" Cotton and his friend in late prohibition USA. With exciting adventure, romance and tongue-in-cheek humor, this is a must for the action fan!

The condition is VeryGood+, with a VeryGood dustjacket. There is light bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges, with the lower corner tips just showing. The dustjacket has a bit of light creasing at the extreme top and bottom edges of the back panel, with a closed 1/4" tear and a 1/16" chip at the bottom of the spine. There is a faint brush of soil on the back panel, but the jacket is otherwise crisp, clean, complete and un-price-clipped. The binding is intact, as are both hinges. There is a blacked-out area 3/8" x 2" in the UR corner of the front-free flyleaf! (Though we deplore this practice, there have always been a few people who were very determined that their name and address not fall into the hands of others... long before identity theft became a fashionable way to defraud!) Continuing...there are two small stains on the rear-free flyleaf, and a small, discreet bookseller's stamp in the UL corner of the inside back cover. This said, you'll find this to be a beautiful volume in a very attractive dustjacket.
