#P-5 - "Nyeena Kloshe Illahee - Songs of the Good Country" by J.H. Cradlebaugh, an Oregon Author - First Edition - F.W. Baltes & Co, Portland, OR., 1913 - $20.00

The title of this book of poetry is the Chinook Indian name for the Willamette Valley in Oregon. There are several dozen poems, illustrated by 9 photographs. The poems themselves are tributes to early places, people and events in the state where he lived, and which he loved. Hard bound in gray cloth, stamped in gold, this volume measures approx. 5.5" x 9" and has 67 + v pages.

The condition is Good+, with bumping and rubbing at the corners and extremities of the spine. There is a 1915 dedication, in ink, from an uncle to his niece on the front free flyleaf, and the front hinge is just starting t the bottom. I saw a half-dozen light finger smudges scattered through the interior pages. Otherwise the cover and pages are clean, tight, bright and complete!
