#S-5 - “Some of These Days- the Autobiography of SOPHIE TUCKER” - 1946 - $10.00 Hardbound in light blue cloth stamped in red, this book also comes in its original dust jacket. It measures approx. 5.75” x 8.25” and has 309 pages. Born in Russia in 1884, she died in 1966 at the age of 82. The book was copyright in 1945 by Sophie Tucker. Her hand-signed autograph accompanies an inscription “To Elia Krupp - Love Sophie Tucker 2/15/62, in blue ball-point pen. Both front and back end-papers are comprised of a series of captioned photographs tracing the course of her career. The condition is VeryGood+ in a VeryGood+ dust jacket. The book itself has light bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges, and slightly exposed boards at the bottom corner tips. The dust jacket is rubbed at the edges and has a 1/2” tear and associated crease at the top of the back panel, and a 1” closed tear at the bottom of the front panel. A few very small edge chips, creases and scuffs are the only other faults. Otherwise all is intact and very nice appearing. The interior of the book is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
