#F-4 - "Sunset Pass" by Zane Grey - Hardback with Dust Jacket - Grosset & Dunlap, 1931 - $25.00 (Most other titles for the same price) This is one of some two dozen such books we've got in the same outstanding condition. In this book, a cowboy becomes enchanted with a beautiful and warmly human young woman who is part of a mysterious clan living in a hidden valley. He hires on to be close to her only to discover there is a dangerous secret hanging over the family... one that could put his life in danger.  A wonderful adventure tale of the old west, told by the man who intimately knew the places he wrote about, their people, and life in the outdoors like no other perhaps before or since. Also, check out the cover art, done in the dramatic, larger-than-life style typical of the 1930s! The condition is VeryGood+, and its in a NearFine dust jacket. Hardbound in gray-green cloth, with slight sunning of the spine, the book is clean, tight and bright throughout, with tight hinges. The dust jacket has minor wear at the edges and almost insignificant chip at the bottom of the spine, otherwise it is completely intact! Check out our pictures and make up your own mind. We've also included photos of the rest of the book spines and covers... their condition being comparable to the one described here. All of these were purchased from an 84 year-old Wyoming gentleman who originally collected them in his youth. Each has been read perhaps a half-dozen times at most. Though these are reprints, their quality actually exceeds that of the majority of the books that are published today! The covers of these are real cloth, and the text blocks are sewn together in signatures, rather than glued to a backing. They're also easy on your pocketbook, since were asking less than 10% of what a first edition would cost today!
