Tragedy strikes the family and Dahn has to go to work to help support the family. Through many adventures, he and his sister join a band of gypsies and see much of their country in the process. Hardbound in tan cloth with a full-size color illustrated paste-on, the book measures 7" x 9" and has 125 pages. There are 8 full-page, full-color illustrations plus a couple dozen more smaller illustrations throughout the text. The endpapers are fully illustrated in color with a scene of boats sailing offshore. The book is in VeryGood condition, with bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges and a few spots of soil along the spine. The binding and hinges are tight. Interior pages are crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete with NO faults whatever!
