#C-17 - "All About Rockets and Jets" by Fletcher Pratt - Random House, 1958 - With Dustjacket - $8.00

Hardbound in illustrated blue-green cloth, it measures 7" x 9.5" and has 140 pages. The book traces for young readers, the evolution of rockets from their invention by the Chinese through their use in the Revolutionary War, WWII and further evolution in this country. It was written just as our exploration of space began in the late 1950's. With illustrated endpapers and numerous other lithographs by noted space illustrator, Jack Coggins.

VeryGood- in a similar dustjacket, it is lightly bumped at the corners and with heavier rubbing at the edges. The dustjacket has a couple of tiny chips at the corners, and one larger one (1/2" x 3/4") at the upper back panel near the spine. A former owner's name is on the inside front cover. I saw a few lightly toned areas or spots on a few pages near the covers both front and back. Otherwise the interior pages are clean, tight, bright and complete with NO significant faults!
