This book has the author's original illustrations... 24 of them plus chapter heading decorations... throughout the text! Hardbound in illustrated, light green cloth printed in dark
green on the front cover and spine, the condition is Good, with
light soil, bumped and rubbed at the corners and edges, with
some fraying at the corner tips and top and bottom of the spine.
Underlying boards are just peeking on 3 corners.. The hinges
are starting, and I saw 4 pages with closed tears of 1"
to 2". At no charge, IF requested by the purchaser, we
will be happy to repair these tears, using archival techniques
and materials. Faint toning of some page edges. Otherwise,
the interior of the book is free of any marks, creases or other
faults. An excellent reading copy that with minor reinforcement
of he hinges, will easily last another 104 years! |
