#C-41 - "The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor" by Eugen Sharin - and Illustrated by Oscar Fabrés - Hyperion Press, 1945 - First Edition - $35.00

The adventures of Sinbad are beautifully retold by Eugin Sharin from the original Arabian Nights Entertainment! Sinbad visits many strange lands with remarkable people, and the story is beautifully illustrated by Oscar Fabrés whose work on other children's books has been so widely praised. The front and back end-papers are illustrated in full color, and there are 20 full-page, full color illustrations gracing the text, plus several more in b&w! The book also has an illustrated dust jacket!

Hardbound in blue cloth, stamped in light blue, the book measures approx. 7.25" x 10.75", and has 72 pages. The condition is VeryGood+, with bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges. The dustjacket is Good+, with rubbing and small chips at the corners and edges, and a 1" x 1/2" triangular piece missing from the back panel. The original 73¢ price sticker is still on the UR corner of the inside front dustjacket flap. A few pages are inexplicably of a slightly tan color... almost as if two different lots of paper were used. Otherwise the binding is tight and the interior of the book is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete! NOTE: Our online searches show this title in cloth, with a dustjacket, and in this condition is a scarce item.
