#C-37 - "Sticks" by Oliver Selfridge - - Houghton Mifflin Co., 1967 - First Edition - Dustjacket - $12.00

A book that will delight youngsters and entertain those young of heart, this book tells of a plethora of things that can be done with Sticks. Things such as scratch your back, make a tail for a horse made out of a sawhorse, stir paint, be a perch for a hen, or a toothpick. A stick can be for walking, or for your dog to fetch, or whacking things, or making an arrow... and so on! There are a hundred or more things one can do with sticks in this quaint, tongue-in-cheek book. Hardbound in tan cloth stamped in brown and blue on the front cover and spine, the book measures approx. 5.75" x 9.75", and has 43 pages, all of which are illustrated!.

The condition is Fine, and it has a VeryGood+ dustjacket. The book itself is absolutely without fault... like new! The dustjacket is bumped and rubbed at the corners and edges of the spine, and has 4 very tiny scuffed spots. The corners of the inside front dustjacket flap have been clipped. Otherwise the book is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... with NO other faults!
