#AP-31 - Frank Tenney Johnson Print - “The Cowboy” - $7.00 This print is mounted on a backing mat, that was obviously used to promote the sale of calendars bearing this image. In the UL corner it reads “Your Firm Name - Your Phone - Your Address - Your Town - Style 27 (Horizontal”. Just below the print are the title (above) at the left, and “by F. Tenney Johnson” at the right. The print itself measures 6” tall by 8” wide, and the backing card being 9.5” x 12.5”. The condition of the print itself is FINE, with NO faults whatever. The backing card is VeryGood+, with some paper disturbance below the center part of the print, where it appears someone removed the sample calendar which was typically in that position on a salesman’s sample. In my opinion, an artfully-cut mat could cover the disturbed paper, while leaving the outline and the title and artist’s name below it.
