#AP-19 - Matted Christmas print by F.D. Lohman - from a ca. 1930 book titled "Christmas Carols" - $35.00 This piece is actually the endpapers from a broken book. We do not break books unless they have already been damaged to the point where they are no longer saleable as they are. In this case, the back cover and some pages were already missing, and we salvaged these beautiful endpapers and a couple of remaining prints. The artist's name was given on the title page, but does not appear on the print itself. The condition is NearFine, with a 1/2" crease and a miniscule scuff in the extreme LL corner. Otherwise the piece is crisp, clean, bright and without any other fault. We have matted it using archival-grade materials, mounted it on a foam-core backing board, and shrink-wrapped it for protection. The label in the UR corner is on the outside of the shrink-wrap.
