#RP-2 - "Solitude" by Maxfield Parrish - Original 1932 Edison Mazda Calendar Print - $350.00 This print image measures approx. 6.5" x 9" (not counting the borders seen at the right and left edges), and according the to parlance used in the "Maxfield Parrish Identification and Price Guide", 3rd Edition, by Erwin Flack, this is a small-cropped print. The image exactly matches that shown in that reference. The words "©Maxfield Parrish 1931" are in seen in light blue at the bottom of the print. The print is lightly held on a backing board, using archival-grade, non-staining tape, and is presently in a period frame, behind glass. The price is the same with or without the frame. The condition is NearFine, with a tiny crease involving the border at the LR corner, but NOT involving the image area at all. Three small cutting irregularities, the largest of which extends about 1/8" into the image area, are barely visible at the top. All of these "faults" would be covered by a mat or the normal inset on a custom-made frame. In every other way, this print is crisp and clean, with fresh, bright color, exactly as it looked on the original calendar when it first left the printers! As with all of our merchandise, we unconditionally guarantee its authenticity.
