#CP-15 - 7 Color plates from "Mother Goose" illustrated by Gustav Tenggren - Matted and backed... ready to frame - $20.00 each This group of prints come from a "broken" copy of this 1940 children's book published by Little Brown Co. The book was missing its back cover and had some pictures and stories missing as well, and for that reason no longer salable as a complete book. The prints we have to offer are (1) Three Wise Men of Gotham, (2) Little Jenny Wren, (3) As I Was Going Up Pippen Hill, (4) What Are Little Boys Made Of?, (5) Please Put A Penny In An Old Man's Hat, (6) Old King Cole and (7) Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater. A delightful way to decorate your childs room and offer him/her many hours of inspirational and imaginative thought. The image area is approx. 6.75" x 8.75", and the prints have been matted and backed, using acid-free materials, to an overall size of 11" x 14", a standard size. This means that one could easily and inexpensively frame the prints using any of the off-the-shelf frames made for that size, and available at Wal-Mart, Target, or other big-box stores. The prints have also been shrink-wrapped for protection. The large label in the UR corner is on the outside of the shrink-wrap which, of course, would be removed prior to inserting in a frame. The condition of both mats and prints is FINE, with NO faults whatever!
