#P-7 - 1962 Lobby Card for the United Artists Film “WAR HUNT”... ROBERT REDFORD’s first movie role. - $10.00 Measuring 11” x 14”, it pictures Saxon in the center, and Redford at the left. From the Internet Movie Database, it appears that Redford started in TV in 1960, with 20 roles on almost as many shows over the next two years, until he got this, his FIRST motion picture role. It was 1965 before his next film came out, and then his first starring role came in 1967 in “Barefoot in the Park”. Note the number “62/159”, in the LR corner, the industry ID number for this movie. The numeral “4” is in the center-bottom margin, indicating this is #4 of the typical “set” of 8 lobby cards for any given film. The condition is VeryGood, with small tape stains in the two upper corners, and a 1/2” x 1.5” area in the LL corner where the top layer of paper was lifted when a piece of tape was removed. A 1/4” x 3/4” area is similarly affected in the LR corner. These are largely confined to the margins, with the exception of a very small printed area at the extreme LL of the design and the first 2 letters of “Copyright”. Otherwise the card is clean and complete.
