#OM-14 - March-April 1941 "Baldwin Locomotives" Magazine - 8-Inch Railroad Gun made by Baldwin on the Front Cover - $5.00 This was the in-house magazine for The Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, Pa, and may be the perfect gift for that person who used to work for Baldwin, or who's a fan of the great old steam equipment that they manufactured. During the WWII years, Baldwin, like many other companies throughout the country, converted their factories to "war work", this being just one example of how they contributed to the war effort! Measuring approx 8.5" x 11.5", the magazine has
24 pages plus the covers! This issue is dedicated to the special
Railroad Gun manufactured for the Department of Defense by Baldwin,
and then proceeds to give an overview of the various departments
involved in its construction! The condition is NearFine, with
barely the slightest hint of having been handled, this magazine
is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... a joy to behold!
