#EP-3 - EXPO '74 - "WORLD'S FAIR IN SPOKANE" SOUVENIR BROCHURE - 8.5" x 11" - $10.00

Relive the event which transformed the face of Spokane! The eradication of the blight of a degenerating Burlington Northern rail yard on an island in the center of the Spokane River, became a beautiful focal point of the city and the impetus for dramatic urban renewal that continues to this day, more than 30 years later! Soft bound and measuring 8.5" x 11", there are 24 pages plus the heavy card covers. Every page is graced with full-color photographs of all the features of this event. The two centerfold pages consist of a dramatic, aerial overview of the Expo, showing the entire site, surrounded by the river, Spokane Falls, the Burlington Clock Tower (which was salvaged), the dramatic pavilion and all the lesser venues both on the island and adjacent areas of the city!

The condition is NearFine, with a bit of very light bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges. Otherwise it is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
