#OM-1 - The Philatelic Journal of America, 1894 - $9.95 each We only have five of these scarce and remarkable journals left. They were printed by the C.H. Mekeel Stamp & Publishing Co., and had been in publication for 12 years by this time.The dates run between June and November of 1894. They measure 8" x 11" and average 40 pages per issue. These were not just a club rag to be scanned and quickly thrown away. On the contrary, they were a serious philatelic magazine with many intriguing articles, complete with illustrations. The condition is generally VeryGood with a bit of edge toning and minor edge fraying as the only significant faults. We should all look this good at 60, let alone 107!
