#OCM-16 - ca. 1935 Sun Oil Map of Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island - $15.00 Measuring 22” x 28”, and folding down to 3.75” x 7”, this map shows all of the above 3 states, with portions of adjacent Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and New York. A similar map of the region, on the reverse side, focuses on major points of interest, and does so in a pictorial manner, each with an explanatory caption. A map of Boston and vicinity, another of downtown Boston, and maps of Bridgeport, CN, and Providence, RI, are also on this side. A statement announcing Connecticut’s upcoming Tercentenary celebration, beginning in April of 1935, provides our approximate dating of this map. The condition is VeryGood+, with a couple of small corner creases, a half-dozen short separations at the outer end of file folds, ranging from 2” for one and from 1” to 1/4” for the others. I count 7 pinholes at points where file folds intersect. Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, bright and complete!
