#COM-5 - 1933 Conoco Map of Colorado - 18” x 24” - $15.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Continental Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and green on pale yellow, it features a map of Colorado, with portions of Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, New Mexico and Arizona. All map areas on that side are marked with small blue triangles wherever a Conoco station was located. The opposite side features maps of Rocky Mountain N.P., Denver, Denver Mountain Parks, Pike’s Peak and Mesa Verde N.P..

Because of the age of this map, expect to find large sections of roadways, major and minor, still designated as gravel or dirt!

Measuring approx. 18” x 24”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”.

The condition is VeryGood, with two short tears (1/8” and 1/2” at the edge of a file fold, and some “pinholes” where file folds intersect (1/8” or less). A hint of handling soil along edges of the two panels that are exposed when folded Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
