#COM-12 - 1930 Conoco Map of the United States - 18” x 24” - $10.00 This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Continental Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and green on pale yellow, it features a map of the entire United States. How much simpler our life was back then. The spider web of highways is much less complex than even when I was born in 1940! Maps are an amazing chronicle of more than just highways however. Consider the boundaries of National Parks and Monuments, for example... not to mention the growth of cities. Measuring approx. 18” x 24”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”. The condition is VeryGood+, with 2 pinholes (less than 1/8”) where file folds intersect. Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
