#COM-10 - 1936 Conoco Map of Utah - 18” x 24” - $15.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Conoco Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and green on pale yellow, it features a map of Utah and the northern 70 miles of Arizona. Small portions of Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico are also shown. Each of these is marked with small blue triangles wherever a Conoco station was located. The opposite side features maps of Zion N.P, Bryce N.P., Grand Canyon N.P., Ogden and Salt Lake City.

Regarding the state’s roads, it is amazing to note that with the exception of the combined highways 6 & 50 going east towards Colorado, the entire SE portion of the state is almost completely devoid of any maintained roads!

Measuring approx. 18” x 24”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”.

The condition is VeryGood+, with a hint of handling soil along the edges of the two exposed panels of the map when folded, and the stamp of a Conoco station in Greeley, Colorado on the back panel (folded). Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... one anyone would be proud to display!
