#COM-9 - 1936 Conoco Map of Wyoming - 18” x 24” - $15.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Continental Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and green on pale yellow, it features a map of Wyoming, with portions of Utah and Idaho west as far as Salt Lake City and Pocatello. Each of these states is marked with small blue triangles wherever a Conoco station was located. The opposite side features a map of Yellowstone N.P. and Grand Teton N.P., Rocky Mountain N.P., Cheyenne and Casper, Wyoming, and Ogden, Utah.

Compare this map to our 1930 map to see the great progress made in paving the major highways. The rural access throughout the state is still almost exclusively via graded roads, however.

Measuring approx. 18” x 24”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”.

The condition is VeryGood+, with a bit of toning and handling soil on the two outer panels (as seen when the map is folded) Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... one you’d be proud to display!
