#COM-4 - 1930 Conoco Map of Wyoming - 18” x 24” - $15.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Continental Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and green on pale yellow, it features a map of Wyoming, with portions of Utah and Idaho west as far as Salt Lake City and Pocatello. The map of Wyoming is marked with small blue triangles wherever a Conoco station was located. The opposite side features a map of the U.S. and a map of Yellowstone Park, in addition to an impressive 3-panel graphic, part of which forms the front and back covers when the map is folded.

Any person interested in the development of the state will find this map to be an important research tool... Because of the age of the map, expect to see large areas of the state which are served only by gravel or dirt roads, and... in some cases... no roads at all. This includes almost the entire western half of the state north of Hwy. 30!!! Compare to our 1936 map of Wyoming!

Measuring approx. 18” x 24”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”.

The condition is VeryGood, with a 1/8” tear at the edge of one file fold and a section of highways 30 and 87 which is neatly over lined in blue pencil. At the north end of this overlain a small area is circled Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
