#CiM-3 - 1940’s Map of Denver and vicinity - 18” x 24” - $25.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Co. for Continental Oil Company. It shows the city of Denver and vicinity, bounded by Fitzsimmons on the east, Castle Rock on the south, Silver Plume on the west, and Westminster and Derby on the north. It is printed in red, green, blue, yellow and pink on cream, making for a very colorful map. The opposite side has maps of Downtown Denver, Rocky Mountain N.P. and the Colorado Springs / Pike’s Peak region... all of these latter are in red and green on cream.

Open, the map measures 16.5” x 28”, and folds down to approx. 3.5” x 8”.

The condition is NearFine, with a couple of very minor hints of finger smudges on the front panel (when folded), and a 1” x 1/16” stain that looks like rust near the top of the back panel (folded). Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... suitable for framing or display by the fussiest of collectors!
