#OCM-10 - 1930 EN-AR-CO Map of Colorado - 17” x 22” - $25.00 This map was published by Mid-West Map Company, for The National Refining Company. Printed in red and dark blue on white with stippled pink being used to show National Parks and Monuments. The reverse side of the map is dominated by a map of the North Western States, and detailed local maps of Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park. Note that at this early period, large portions of the state were still served only by gravel and dirt roads. Examples of this were most of the highway from Durango to Montrose, a stretch of Hwy. 160 from Dyke to Del Norte, all of Hwy. 36 from Peoria, CO to Atwood, KS, and long stretches of many other main highways! Measuring approx. 17” x 22”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”. The condition is VeryGood, with handling soil on the outer panels (in folded state). Otherwise, the map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
