#OCM-12 - ca. 1940 Marathon (Ohio Oil Co.) Map of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming - $10.00 Measuring 19.5” x 26.75”, and folding down to 4” x 9”, this map shows all of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana with portions of the adjacent states and Canadian provinces. An enlarged map of the entire U.S. is on the opposite side. Both sides are printed in navy blue and red on white. Marathon was a brand name of the Ohio Oil Company. Population figures were based upon the 1940 census. The condition is VeryGood, with bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges, and some light handling soil along exposed edges. There are a couple of 1/4” separations at places where file folds intersect, and a 1/2” separation at the terminal end of one file fold. Two very light impressions of a Cody, Wyoming service station are seen on one of the two outside panels (when folded). Otherwise the map is clean, tight, bright and complete.
