#SM-5 - 1946-47 Map of Missouri - 20” x 27.5” - $10.00

This map was published by the Missouri State Highway Commission. Printed in red, blue and black on white, the map also shows portions of Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. One will be amazed at how much of the state was still accessible only by gravel and crushed stone roadways!

Measuring approx. 20” x 27.5”, the bound size is approx. 4” x 9”. Roadways are prominent in red and black, while rivers, lakes and creeks are appropriately in blue. State parks and other points of interest are in brown. The back side of the map is graced with a dozen photos of major points of interest throughout the state.

The condition of the map is VeryGood+, with a small break (about 1/16” each) at the junction of two file folds as the only significant fault. Otherwise you’ll find the map to be crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
