#OCM-7 - 1940 Skelly Company Map of Arkansas - 18” x 27” - $10.00

This map was published by H.M. Gousha Company, for the Skelly Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue and light blue on white with stippled light blue used for lakes and rivers. Note that this map was produced before construction was begun on freeways, and at a time when the rural areas of the state were still serviced only by gravel and dirt roads! The reverse side of the map is dominated by a map of the South-Central part of Missouri, and detailed local maps of Hot Springs Nat’l Park and the adjacent town, Texarkana, Pine Bluff, Fort Smith, Little Rock and Memphis.

Measuring approx. 19” x 27”, the folded size is approx. 4” x 9”.

The condition is VeryGood+, with a professionally sealed 1” tear at the edge of one panel. This seal was done using Filmoplast-P, a nearly invisible, non-staining tape, and is discernible only by careful inspection. Otherwise, the map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
