#TOC-1 - 1941 Texaco Map of the Eastern U.S. - 23” x 32” - $10.00

This map was published by Rand, McNally & Company, for the Texaco Oil Company. Printed in red, dark green and maroon on white, it features a map of the NE United States on one side, and a map of the SE United States on the other. The maroon color is used to denote sections of roadway that, as of June 1941, either had detours, were under repair, or where pavement had just been completed (different symbols being employed to indicate which of those 3 conditions applied.

Measuring approx. 28” x 35”, the folded size is approx. 5.5” x 8.5”

The condition is NearFine, with a 3” over line, from Emporia, Kansas west through McPherson to the edge of the map. This over line is in a medium blue. There are no marks on the map of the NE U.S. There is a hint of soil along some creases exposed when the map is folded. Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... suitable for anyone to display with pride!
