#TOC-7 - 1935 Texaco Map of Michigan - 22” x 28” - $15.00 This map was published by Rand, McNally & Company, for the Texaco Oil Company. Printed in red, dark blue, green and yellow on pale yellow, it features a map of Minnesota, with portions of the adjacent states. The opposite side features a 14” x 20” map of the Land of Lakes region north of Rhinelander, plus smaller local maps of Duluth and Minneapolis-St. Paul. It should come as a surprise to nobody that, at this time, significant portions of highways and lesser roads in the northern portions of the state remain unpaved at this time! Measuring approx. 22” x 28”, the folded size is approx. 3.5” x 7.25”. The condition is NearFine, with nothing more than a few light handling smudges on 1 exposed panel and edges... as seen when the map is in its folded state (see our scan). Otherwise this map is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete... one you’d be proud to display!
