#NP-16 - Very Retro, One-Owner, Flowered, Tropical Shirt from the 1970's! - $25.00

This size MEDIUM shirt was purchased by me sometime around 1970-1973... this dating most prominently proven by the collar style. It was a big purchase for a young man with a very limited income, and one that I treasured. As a result, I only wore it on special, dress-up occasions. As it happens with fashions, it wasn't long before it became a bit out of style, and then as time went on I "grew" out of it. Consequently it's been sitting in my closet, in a garment bag, for the past 25 years or so! Since it's unlikely I'll ever fit into it again, I felt it was time to make it available to someone else. The shirt is made of a high-quality, heavy-weight, wrinkle-resistant, 100% polyester fabric, with a silk-like sheen, it's long sleeved, and has a beautifully tailored collar and cuffs. This shirt has a set-in pocket, double stitching around the collar and cuffs, and measures a generous 21.5 inches from underarm to underarm, and the sleeves measure 24.5" from shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. The size tag (Medium) also has the washing instructions, which state that it can be washed in COLD water, dry COOL, and iron on LOW heat and steam. It was probably only washed about a half-dozen times in all those years!

The condition is NearFine, the only signs of having been worn are the fact that the manufacturer's label is missing, and there are some loose threads on a couple of button holes. There are no holes, fraying, stains, rips, tears, smells or repairs. This shirt is crisp, clean, bright and other than the missing label and loose threads mentioned above, it looks brand new!
