#TB-16 - ca. 1960 Alaska Promotional Ephemera - 3 Items - $7.00 This lot consists of (1) a prospectus brochure promoting the new state as a tourist’s mecca and ideal place to live; (2) an attractively illustrated booklet identifying the many edible mushrooms to be found in the state, plus the one genus which is poisonous... color illustrations; and (3) a beautifully decorated commercial envelope from Matanuska Valley Bank! All 3 of these were published within a couple of years of Alaska’s statehood in 1959. The condition of the brochure and booklet is NearFine, with little sign of ever having been handled. The envelope is VeryGood+, with a puckered area at the LR corner. There’s a couple of light creases and a hint of very minor soil... mostly on the back side. Otherwise all are clean, tight, bright and complete!
