#CAT-1 - Spring & Summer 1925 mail-order catalog from The Lewis Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota - $18.00 Think of this as a cross between L.L. Bean, and G.I. Joe's. There are some ladies' and men's fashions, but also a wealth of outdoor gear for farm and camping, army surplus, and even harnesses and saddles! Every item is illustrated! Just the kind of catalog that folks out on the prairie might use to order the things they needed without having to make the often arduous drive to the nearest town or city! And when it went out of date, it just may have ended-up in the outhouse! Measuring 7.5" x 10.5", there are 32 pages. The overall condition is VeryGood, with a vertical file-fold consistent with having been mailed in a wrapper. There is some wear along the fold, and a chip in the LL corner of the front cover and a couple more along the bottom edge. Other than that the balance of the catalog is clean, tight, bright and complete.
