#MIS-8 - "SACAM Esso Service" - ca. 1932 service reminder from a Paris dealer... In French! - Mechanical! - $25.00 Another great service reminder from SACAM Esso Service, located at 62-64 Boulevard de Reims, Paris, 17e. This one is a reminder to Mr. Tatum to obtain Winter service for his FORD prior to the 31st of December, for 7.500 francs. The front of the brochure shows a man in suit & tie, carrying a winter coat, with a die-cut hand sticking through a small die-cut hole in the page. Carefully opening the page allows the hand to slip through, thus showing the man, now wearing his winter coat, with a real button affixed to a flap of the coat... the die-cut flap being held closed by the die-cut hand. This can be further opened to reveal the scarf he is wearing underneath the coat, to further protect him from the winter's cold! The brochure measures 4.25" x 9" closed, and opens to 9.75" x 9" with the flap fully opened. All text is in French. The condition is NearFine, with a hint of toning of the paper... mostly visible on the unprinted back page. Otherwise this brochure is crisp, clean, bright and complete!
