#TB-30 - Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona - 1928 - $45.00 This booklet is soft bound, measures approx. 6” x 9”, nd has 68 pages plus the covers. Within these pages are a general description of the park and it’s major facilities, trails, it’s origin and geological history, tables of distances and altitudes, public utilities and conveniences, literature, bibliography, other National Parks, derivation of names used on Grand Canyon maps, and a chart detailing the 19 NP’s in existence at that time. There is also a bound-in, 4-color, 9” x 16” map of the entire NP, showing the physical contours, what areas were forested, access roads, trails and many place names and other quaint information. Finally, there is a mimeographed insert (loose) announcing free nature walks and lectures available at the park headquarters on the south rim. The condition is VeryGood+, with light bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges, and a few handling smudges on the covers only. Otherwise this booklet is fresh, clean, tight, bright and complete!
