#MIS-11 - LA REVUE FORD - JANUARY 1932 FORD BROCHURE IN FRENCH - 9" x 12" - $75.00 Looking for something unusual for your collection of early FORD memorabilia? This striking and colorful brochure will certainly add something unique to that display! Spiral-bound and measuring 9.25" x 12.25" the brochure has 28 pages plus the covers! Loaded with many Art Deco illustrations, it begins with a 3-page interview with Henry Ford, headed by a dashing photograph of the then middle-aged founder of the company. This is followed by a Christmas story (with the many attributes of a FORD as the focus); then articles touting the features and benefits of owning a 1932 Ford in "La Machine a Gagner du Temps"; "La Machine a Gagner de l'Argent"; and "La Machine a Gagner des Loisirs"; and finally a fabulous and electrifying full-color centerfold. There is a full-page price list of all the models of automobiles, trucks and Fordson tractors! This is followed by a full page article reporting the use of a Ford engine in a "runabout" boat; the Ford Excelsior d'Amphion. And finally, several pages of advertisements by related dealerships. The condition is VeryGood+, with light bumping and rubbing
at the edges, a tiny corner crease in the UR and LR corners of
the front cover, and a bit of light soil on the back cover.
Otherwise the booklet is crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete...
a joy to behold! |
