#CAT-6 - The W.G. Morris 1887 Supplementary Catalog of Watches - including the original mailing envelope, dated Sept. 30, 1887! - $25.00 It is rare enough that we have pre-1900 catalogs to offer, but one with it's original, illustrated mailing envelope is a real rarity. W.G. Morris was a wholesaler of Watches, Diamonds, Silverware and Cutlery. He was also a Manufacturing Jeweler. His offices were located at 90 Fifth Ave., Chicago, Illinois. The catalog supplement measures 6" x 9" and has 8 pages. There is also an 8.5" x 11" loose page, printed on both sides, with additional offers. The condition of the catalog is VeryGood, with a few short edge tears (less than 1/4"), and the minor creases associated with them. Other than those, the pages of the catalog are clean, tight, and complete. The mailing envelope is creased and soiled, but is otherwise complete. It was addressed to a Geor. H. Coomer, Independence, Polk County, Oregon. It is signed by him and dated Sept. 30, - 87, just below the stamps.
