#TB-22 - 1943 Brochure - “Along the Union Pacific Railroad” - $15.00

Measuring approx. 4” x 9”, this descriptive brochure opens to 8” x 9”, of which there are 48 pages, each divided into 2 numbered sub-pages. The 9” x 16” centerfold map (covering from Chicago and New Orleans west to the Pacific coast) shows the entire route map of the U.P., from Kansas City and Omaha to Los Angeles, Portland, Oregon and Spokane, Washington. It also shows the line’s major connections to other western railroad lines. This map is dated “6-15-’43”!

Within its pages are a history of the U.P. Railroad, followed by a stop-by-stop series of descriptions to inform and intrigue the traveler, regarding towns and cities along each of its routes. Virtually every page is enhanced with photographs, line drawings or both, to further enhance the experience!

The condition of the flier is NearFine, with some light bumping and rubbing at the corners and edges of the outside page. I saw a corner crease, and, of course, there is the vertical file-fold. Otherwise this brochure is fresh, crisp, clean, tight, bright and complete!
