#DAT-1 - Attractive Young Woman's Portrait - Daguerreotype - 2" x 2.5" - $25.00 This charming 1/9 plate image is unusual primarily for the simple, clear-skinned beauty of the young woman, and the simple, yet smartly-tailored, print dress she wears. The image is in Good+ condition, with a blemish on her forehead, a couple more close above her head, and some others, much smaller, scattered around the light background. Some mirroring peeks from beneath the mat on the left. There is only half of the case, and it shows wear, but is intact and holds the brass mat firmly.
