#CC-3 - Large Cabinet Card - Birds-Eye View of Springfield, Oregon, ca. 1910's... Booth-Kelly Mill in foreground - 6" x 8" image area - $75.00 We purchased this photograph from the estate of an old Eugene, OR family.  The caption on the original cabinet-card backing, just below the actual photo, states: "Birds Eye View of Springfield, Ore., in pencil. " The dating is derived from the fact that the roads all appear to be dirt, the absence of garages, and the presence of what appears to be a small truck on one street leading north from the mill. All work in the yards is being done by hand, with no vehicles of any kind in evidence. The photo and the mat we have mounted it in are both in VeryGood+ condition. There is very light rubbing along the edges of the photo itself, and a couple of smudges in the sky. The focus is about 3.5 on a scale of 5, with five being crystal-sharp.
