#MP-10 - Unidentified Hardware Store - presumably in Seattle - Early 1900's - 5" x 7" - $30.00 This photo came to us with the single word "Seattle" written on the back... hence the tentative location noted above. Regardless, it is an exceptionally sharp interior photo of a typical hardware store of the early 1900's. There are NO electric lights nor any electrical appliances, tools or other signs of electricity showing. The focus is extremely sharp, such that much signage is readable. This includes over 2 1/2 dozen boxes marked "Keen-Kutter", a card of "Dog Collars", a box of "..ioneer Camel Hair Artist's Brushes", and many shelves full of granite-ware, with labels that are just beyond the ability of my failing eyes to make out. Of course there's silverware, jack-planes and other hand tools, garden tools, kerosene lanterns, and even a small safe! The condition is absolutely FINE, with NO faults! |
