#RP-8 - Double-size, real photo card: "Columbia River, Oregon" - "#D.39." - by "Cross & Dimmitt" - $15.00 Measuring 3.75" x 10.5", this card is probably from around 1930. A view downstream towards a beautiful late-afternoon sky. A side-channel pond is in the foreground, with the river outside a natural levee at the right. The captions at the bottom of the front read as shown in quotes above. The unused reverse of the card reads: "Copyrighted Photo by CROSS & DIMMITT Scenic Photographers - Columbia River Highway - Sandy Blvd. at 72nd, Portland, Ore." The condition is VeryGood+, with light sepia toning, very lightly bumped corners, and a bit of very light soil on the back. Otherwise crisp, clean and well-focused with NO faults!
