#PH-12 - Leon, California - Clear strike, dated Oct. 18, 1910, on a real photo postcard titled "Rock Pile, Menifee, Cal." - $35.00 A relatively clean strike of this DPO-4 item. Small portions of "Oct" and "18" did not register well, but it is still clearly legible. The photo is a bit dark, but clearly shows 3 horse and buggy teams in front of a large rock outcrop. Leon was near Menifee, in Riverside County... an area where many large formations of sandstone boulders abound. The pencil message is clearly legible, and signed "Aunt Alice".
