#PH-15 - Lake Park, Washington - Nice strike, dated Mar. 2 or 3, 1892, on envelope containing a letter in shorthand. - $25.00 This piece has an almost perfect DPO-4 duplex strike, the only fault being that the numeral for the actual day is only partially struck... apparently having been set too deep in the device. Both a notation on the outside of the back flap and the letter inside are written largely in shorthand. The only exceptions are the header and two references to a business in Tacoma, WA. Opened a bit rough.
