#PH-1 - MAESER, Utah - DPO-6 - Clear strike of a Doane cancel on a postcard back - Dated Feb. 18, 1910 - $70.00 This card is written by a son to his mother, and has the dateline: "Maeser, Utah, 2/17th-10". The message continues to talk of illness in the family (see below). The cancel is light, but a full, clear strike, with only the numeral (1) in the bars that didn't register. Another, incomplete large-dial, 4-bar postmark from Robertson, Wyo., (Feb. 20th) is used as a receiving stamp. Though this latter postmark is partially over the message, all is still fully legible. A VeryGood, clean card. The floral greeting on the reverse is of no consequence.
