#PH-2 - MAESER, Utah - DPO-6 - Clear strike of a Doane cancel on a postcard back - Dated Feb. 9, 1910 - $75.00

This card is from the same person as above, to his mother, and has the dateline: "Feb. 9 - 10". The message talks about illness in the family and is clear and legible. The cancel is a bit heavier than the one above, very sharp, and one can clearly see the numeral "1" in the bars. There is a short break in the top of the dial, this having no effect on the lettering, which is all clear and sharp! The other cancel is a clearer Robertson, Wyo. large-dial, also with the numeral 1 between the bars, and used as a receiving stamp. The bars of the latter stamp cross the "TAH" of Utah on the Maeser postmark, which is still quite legible nonetheless. A VeryGood, clean card. The floral greeting on the reverse is of no consequence.
